Special Emphasis:

We have been blessed by the Lord with opportunities to help many children. Some where In our history the most popular question became, “How many kids do y’all have now?” Over the past two years God has proven through the ebb and flow of the Children’e Home ministry that He will continue to send kids our way. From 1 to 16 we constantly lean on Him for our provisions. Private donors and business help, but the bulk of our budget comes from our churches. Our associated efforts have sustained this ministry by the Lord’s hand for 77 years. I can’t thank you enough on behalf of all the lives we have Impacted with the Gospel of Christ. Associational efforts are vital. 

During our special emphasis this year we are trying to go beyond our current contributions by $30,000. This will help us In a multitude of areas, but one In particular. Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 tells us, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” We need associational funding and we need an associational work force. We have cut costs on a multitude of fronts, but we have had more expenses with the addition of more children. If we want to continue to sustain and grow In this ministry, we need more funds and more help. We need more monetary support to hire another full time couple to come along side us for the labor, for the support, and for the strength. If we do not see a growth In support and the addition of help we will continue on our current course of plateau.
